When Intimacy is Complicated
by Erectile Dysfunction
What Women Need to Know About
Erectile Dysfunction
If intimacy with your partner is impacted by erectile dysfunction,
you’re not alone - and it's not your fault.
A 75–90 minute workshop for women navigating the emotional impact of erectile dysfunction in their relationship—and looking for clarity, validation, and practical solutions for how to manage it.
Join the Workshop
If your partner has erectile dysfunction, the emotional impact on you is real—even if no one talks about it.
Many women experience:
-
Feeling rejected or undesirable despite loving their partner
-
Loneliness and emotional distance in the relationship
-
Avoiding conversations about sex to protect his feelings
-
Confusion about whether their needs still matter
-
A quiet grief over how intimacy has changed
The emotional impact of erectile dysfunction on women is rarely acknowledged—yet it shapes self-esteem, connection, and desire in powerful ways.
This workshop is a woman-centered space to name that impact, remove self-blame, and understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface.
Support for Partners of Men with Erectile Dysfunction
This is not a medical workshop.
It’s not about fixing erections or pressuring your partner.
It’s about support for partners of men with erectile dysfunction—and helping you to maintain intimacy despite ED.
Erectile dysfunction doesn’t just affect erections.
It affects how women feel about themselves, their relationships, and their desirability.
Why This Workshop is Different
I’m a licensed psychotherapist, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, with a PhD in Clinical Sexology. I have years of experience helping men and couples navigate erectile dysfunction, anxiety, and intimacy challenges.
But I'm also the partner of someone who has erectile dysfunction.
So I get it.
That means I understand it as a therapist, but I have also lived with ED in my own relationship, so I have walked in your shoes. I know how what it's like to not know what to say or do when he can't keep or get an erection.
I know frustrating ED is for both of you and how it can harm your intimacy.
What You’ll Gain
By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Understand erectile dysfunction in a way that removes self-blame
- Learn why ED is not a reliable measure of attraction or desire
- Feel validated in the emotional effects of erectile dysfunction
- Recognize relationship patterns that quietly erode intimacy
- Learn how to talk about erectile dysfunction with your partner without shutdown or pressure
- Know your next step—emotionally and relationally
How Erectile Dysfunction Affects Women and Relationships
In this workshop, we’ll explore:
-
Why erectile dysfunction happens (without medical jargon)
-
The stress and performance anxiety loop that keeps ED going
-
How ED impacts intimacy, emotional safety, and connection
-
Why many women over-function or minimize their needs
-
What helps intimacy when erections are unreliable
-
How to talk about erectile dysfunction in ways that preserve closeness
- What to do and say when he can't get or loses his erection during intimacy.
This is grounded, compassionate guidance for women coping with a partner’s erectile dysfunction—without blame or unrealistic expectations.
